Officially launched at the 2019 Royal Highland Show, Avva Pink Scottish Gin was in development for over 6 months. Perfecting the recipe and ensuring the right combination of fruit, picked locally from Wester Hardmuir fruit farm in Nairn, took time and patience. Scottish strawberries and raspberries are macerated with the original Avva Scottish Gin to create a blush pink colour. To taste, the traditional piney juniper backbone but featuring additional fruity notes from the berries.

    How to enjoy this gin

    This works well as part of a long refreshing drink, paired with a rose or raspberry lemonade. For a lighter drink, try a fruit flavoured soda mixer.

    About Avva Scottish Gin

    Moray Distillery, established in 2016, can be found in the heart of the old Cathedral city of Elgin in the world famous Speyside area of the Scottish Highlands. Steeped in history and tradition, this part of Scotland is known to many as the whisky distillery heartland of the world. Founder and distiller Jill Brown is responsible for all areas of production, including distilling, filling, and hand numbering and signing of all bottles on site.

    Production

    Moray Distillery is based in Elgin and has undergone a number of improvements over the years, including opening to tours and tastings. The bespoke still at Moray Distillery was made in Elgin by local copper specialists Speyside Copper Works and is named after the founder's grandmothers Jessie Sutherland Brown and Jean Bannerman Waters, affectionately know as Jessie Jean (or J-J).
