Find your perfect gin

Celeste McGinn is a proud Glaswegin and has worked in the Glasgow pub and hospitality trade for over twenty five years. In this time she has seen more and more of her customers’ understanding of gin grow. What gins do you have? What tonics do you have? Can you suggest a garnish? It made perfect sense to Celeste as the selection of Scottish Gins available at her bars continued to grow as did her love of gin that it would be great to have a gin to call her own.

True to the spirit of Glasgow, she sought the help and support of another local Glaswegian distillery to aid with the creation of her own gin. With a good understanding of the flavour profile, she collaborated with the team at Glasgow Distillery Co. who helped refine, create and distil the final gin – McGin Glasgow Gin.

McGin Glasgow Gin

McGin Glasgow Gin is distilled using eight botanicals including juniper, rosehip, blackberry leaf, angelica root, lemon peel, orange peel, coriander and liquorice root. Described as a gin that can be sipped neat over ice, works well with tonic or can be used in a cocktail, the gin is versatile whilst keeping the core juniper flavour at its heart. The combination of botanicals create a traditional gin flavour profile whilst the label reflects the hands on approach and sense of humour Glaswegians are known for.
