Lovingly distilled in the heart of Scotland, Kilty Gin is inspired by travels and adventures around the many beautiful and majestic landscapes that surround us. The Kilty Gin story started with a passion for Scotland’s most famous spirit, whisky. Having fallen in love with the history, romanticism, quality and variety of Scotch Whisky (not to mention the taste), the founders were inspired to create their own spirit that could itself start its own lasting legacy.
It took years of planning and learning for the founders and creators of Kilty Gin to launch with their signature expression from first conception. They didn’t want to rush the product and create something half-hearted. Having put their hearts and souls into this, they bring a gin to market that they are truly proud of. Endless amounts of time researching, educating and refining Kilty Gin has been spent to ensure this gin is of the highest quality.
Kilty Gin is a bold, juniper-led London Dry Style Gin. Rowan berries add additional depth of character to Kilty Gin. On the nose, bold but welcoming juniper followed by higher floral notes of the heather tips and the enticing orange and cardamom elements. To taste, the rowan berries impart a rounded sweetness and the cardamom provides a lovely warming character. To finish, a clear crispness comes through from the pink peppercorns. Orange and cardamom end the show as they gradually fade away to leave soft, pleasant finish.

Inspired by the famous Scottish dessert, Kilty Cranachan is distilled with the finest Scottish Oats, honey and raspberries, alongside their signature rowan berries and other classic gin botanicals. This remains a classic gin, but a slightly sweeter alternative to the classic Kilty London Dry style gin. Each batch of less than 200 bottles is distilled by the father son family team in the heart of Scotland in the Cathedral city of Dunblane. The raspberries and honey are individually distilled on a 3 litre ‘Rotavap’ still. This distils using a special vacuum at 40-60 degrees celsius, which preserves the fine, delicate flavours of the raspberries and honey. This is then added to the main distillation and left to rest for two weeks before bottling.
