Originally opened in 1975, Eskbank Trading is a family owned shop in the small town on the outskirts of Edinburgh. A mainstay of the local community, the shop has been a purveyor of fine food and drink for over 40 years.
Stocking an ever growing range of Scottish produce, including beers, food and spirits, the McCorquodale family wanted to create a Scottish Gin of their own. Launched in the middle of 2018, Eskbank Gin was developed by Pixel Spirits in North Ballachulish, Highlands.
Notes of spice and herbs on the nose, Eskbank Gin is distilled with a variety of botanicals to create a refreshing and balanced gin with citrus and herbaceous notes. The gin features a touch of locally produced honey, which gives a rich and smooth finish.
