In the year 1658, world renowned Professor Franz de la Boë gently infused a clear grain spirit with hand picked juniper berries while painstakingly searching for a medicinal tonic and gave us the gift of gin! And so Boë Gin was created to honour Professor Franz de la Boë.
Boë Scottish Gin is created in a small village just outside of Stirling called Throsk, under the watchful eye of their production team, where botanicals and spices are distilled with their base spirit, liberating the full flavours of triple filtered Boë Scottish Gin.
The subtleties of Boë Scottish Gin are all in the selection and preparation of its botanicals – that fine balance of herbs and spices so crucial to its distinctive taste and quality. Juniper berries and their flavoursome oils are at the heart of the gin distillation, but it takes many more elements to make Boë special including coriander, angelica, ginger and other botanicals. To taste, it is clean, spiced and strikingly refreshing.
