Black Thistle Distillery was established in 2018 in Brechin, sometimes called the City of Brechin, thanks to Brechin Cathedral. Brechin, on the east coast of Angus, Scotland and the surrounding landscape is renowned for its lush, fertile green farmland; over spring and summer, it is a patchwork of colours where crops, including fruit and vegetables, thrive. With its coastline, mountains, forests, rivers, lochs and rolling farmland, the region is also home to a diverse range of Scottish botanicals.
With its heritage of producing quality food and a diverse range of Scottish botanicals, the team at Black Thistle Distillery had a rich botanical larder to choose from. The distillery produces a range of gins, vodkas and rums.
