In our Shaken & Stirred series, we ask Scotland’s Gin makers what cocktail works perfectly with their Scottish Gin and, just as importantly, how can we make it at home?
In our latest feature we asked Stuart Ingram, founder of House of Elrick Gin to suggest one of the many ways we can enjoy House of Elrick Gin’s signature expression and he made this fruity, spiced gin fizz cocktail, which we happily recreated and enjoyed at home. Here’s what you need to know…
• 37.5ml House of Elrick Gin
• 12.5ml Cointreau
• 22.5ml Fresh Pomegranate Juice
• 12.5ml Vanilla Sugar
• Rosé Prosecco, to top up
• Pomegranate seeds, to garnish
These measures are a guide only and can be tailored to suit your own personal taste.
Hard shake the first four ingredients over ice, double strain into a chilled cocktail or champagne glass, top up with the Rosé Prosecco and garnish with pomegranate seeds.
Have fun and enjoy your drink responsibly.
