Find your perfect gin

Persie Gin is the brainchild of the people behind the world’s first touring gin club, Chrissie and Simon Fairclough. Simon toured the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland and other parts of the UK teaming up with distillers, pubs, hotels and restaurants at the forefront of the drinks industry to help thousands of gin lovers in their quest to find the perfect snifter. The game plan was to hear first hand the voice of the customer and use these insights to make a family of gins that hit the spot.

Simon, a former consultant for Johnnie Walker, gained his qualification from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling in 2013 and, with his wife Chrissie’s background in marketing communications, the couple purchased the Persie Hotel in Glenshee with the goal of creating the area’s first distillery. The distillery and visitor centre opened in 2014 and the couple set to work perfecting their gin recipes – the end result is Persie Gin.
