It seems fitting to celebrate Hogmanay with Scottish Gin. Similarly, it seems very appropriate to enjoy some bubbles as we say goodbye to 2018 and look forward to 2019. For the Scottish Gin, we used Crag & Tail.
• 30ml Scottish Gin
• 15ml Elderflower Liqueur
• Sugar (for the rim of the glass)
These measures are a guide only and can be tailored to suit your own personal taste.
Firstly, place some sugar on a small plate. Run a wedge of lime around the rim of your glass and press to coat in sugar. Simply add the gin and elderflower liqueur to the glass and top up with Prosecco. Squeeze in the remains of the lime wedge and stir gently. Garnish with a fresh or dehydrated slice of lime and serve.
